Box decommissioning has been deferred from 31st May, 2017 to ensure business continuity. The Box contract will be extended; the terms of this extension are currently being renegotiated.We expect an extension of six months (until the end of November) to enable the migration of critical corporate data or information from Box, into Shell SharePoint Online. After this date, content stored on Box will no longer be accessible. Any personal data or information must be moved by the relevant individual before the end of November, 2017. Any BG corporate data or information that needs to be retained for continued operation of our business, or as evidence of activities must be identified to the relevant Functional Data Lead by individuals as soon as possible. The migration of this data or information will be overseen by the Functional Data Leads, in collaboration with the country IT Manager.After the end of November, 2017 all content in Box will be deleted. Note that most of the content stored in Box will be confidential, and must only be shared with others when they have a legitimate need and right to receive it. For any information migrated from Box, the individual is responsible for ensuring that access to the information is appropriate, both during and following the migration.
